Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to ask Inter Forward Trading to delete personal data held in Tegur. Anyone can use it: account holders who sign in to Tegur, people who have received messages from a Tegur user, people whose details an account holder copied into Tegur from Google Contacts, and Facebook users who connected a WhatsApp number through the Tegur LIVE app.

How to make a request

• Email markalex91@gmail.com with the subject “Tegur data deletion request”.
• Tell us which data the request is about: the phone number Tegur holds for you (for example, the WhatsApp number you were messaged on), or the email address of your Tegur account.
• We will confirm the request through that same phone number or email before acting on it, so that nobody can delete someone else’s data.

What happens next

• We acknowledge the request and give you a reference.
• We stop further messaging to the number immediately by adding it to the opt-out list.
• Within 30 days we complete the deletion and confirm it by email, or explain why part of it cannot be done.

What is deleted

• For a contact: your name, property details and other identifying information recorded about you, and any media you sent.
• For an account holder: your sign-in credentials, connected-number details and stored access tokens, including any issued by Google; your number is disconnected from Tegur.

What is kept, and why

• Your phone number stays on the opt-out list so that you are not messaged again. This is the one record we must keep to honour your request.
• Message history may remain without the link to your identity. Our audit log is append-only and refers to people only by internal identifiers.
• The record that a WhatsApp phone number was once connected to a particular Tegur account is permanent, to stop a number being taken over by someone else.
• Anything we are legally required to retain.

Removing Tegur from Facebook, WhatsApp or Google yourself

• Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → Tegur LIVE → Remove. This revokes the connection; it does not by itself delete data held in Tegur, so also send the request above.
• WhatsApp Business app: Settings → Account → Business Platform → Disconnect. This detaches the number from Tegur’s messaging.
• Google: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose Tegur and remove its access. This stops Tegur reading or changing your Google contacts; it does not by itself delete data held in Tegur, so also send the request above.
